MARINELAND MAGNUM "C" SERIES CANISTER FILTERS

The revolutionary design forces water to pass through the filter media trays and not around them, giving you the full benefit of every bit of filter media.

Aquarium water is drawn into the Magnum canister and through a succession of three or four (depending on the model) stacked media trays (each with its own specialized media) for full-contact filtration -- virtually no bypass. The water is then returned to your aquarium, sparkling-clean and fish-healthy.

First, the large filter pads trap large particulates and debris. Then the Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon removes odors, discolorations and impurities. In the next chamber, Magnum Bio-Filter Balls grow beneficial bacteria to neutralize ammonia. Further through the process, ceramic Bio-Filter rings house even more beneficial bacteria. Then the water is "polished" to a brilliant sparkle and clarity by the water polishing filter pad.

It's a design that delivers the best available technology in mechanical, chemical and biological filtration and it's a design that is unmatched for capturing particulates.

When it's time to service your Magnum C-Series canister filter, all you do is push a lever, turn the key, and lift out the easy-access media trays.

When it's time to start your filter again, just press the "Quick-Prime" button to fill the canister with water for easy priming.
